This revolutionary new process combines the latest
advancements
in sunless tanning with state-of-the-art
misting technology
- to give you a golden-brown tan.
The Mist-On tanning system was the brainchild of Dr. Tom Laughlin,
a biophysicist specializing in the development of new skincare products and equipment.
His patented technology (U.S. 5,922,333) was first introduced in Dallas
in early 1998 under the trade name Mystic Tan. Dr. Laughlin has licensed Palm Beach Tan (Dallas, Texas) to continue
marketing Mystic Tan units to tanning salons.
Dr. Laughlin then turned his focus to the health, beauty, and fitness
markets. He formed Mist-On Systems, and is marketing
a new high-end, high-efficiency model called SAVY
(self-contained automated ventilated misting system)
to these markets and to high-end tanning salons.
A second company, Home Mist, was formed to offer a
non-commercial model called SASSY (semi-automated
self-contained misting system) for home use.
This unit is considered very high-end, and is targeted
for the $1,000,000 plus home. It is
characterized
as the ultimate party tool, one step up from a pool, hot tub, or boat.
It is being offered as a limited edition item.
